Goedgelegen Conservancy is a 3000 hectare conservancy. The conservancy is currently owned by four individuals, The Rose Sands Home Owners Association and the Matekula Home Owners Association have dropped fences between their neighbouring farm to create the conservancy.

It’s just like home, only better! The truly spectacular views from the patios and decks of Windsong Guest lodge is just the beginning of a memorable break from the hustle and bustle of city life. This is self-catering luxury for up to 8 adults and has a loft room suitable to sleep 4 kids. It’s ideal for a family reunion or special occasion, a place for friends to get together and share good times. 

The Goedgelegen Conservancy is situated in the valley below the Schurweberg Mountain Range and is home to 13 species of plains game and an array of magnificent birdlife  When you’ve finished fly-fishing for Trout in the dam , kick back and watch the game on DSTV. Cook up a storm In a kitchen with everything including a Gas hob, microwave, convection oven, pots, pans, kitchen fridges, bar fridges and utensils.

The lodge and the house is a self-catering facility. Rooms and living areas will be serviced and cleaned once a day and dishes will be washed. Our Staff will assist you in every way possible.

Guests are to refrain from littering. All paper and other litter should be collected and discarded at the main house.

*Note. The road from the R541 leading to the house is a dirt road and is driveable, however a high vehicle with a large ground clearance is recommended. There is limited cell phone reception at the lodge, if you need to make a phone call you will have to drive about 5minutes to the main gate.
